What to Expect

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

The Masai Mara reserve will tickle your thrill spot with Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife. The lush golden grassland plains are filled with plentiful zebras, lions and wild beasts, with a real-life alacrity of on-camera safari expeditions. This acacia land brings you goosebumps with the cheerful sight of the five giants, the elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and the wild buffaloes. Feel the intriguing sense of nomadic life with captivating day-time activities and splendid overnight stays at camps or lodges on this trip to Masai Mara Safari.

The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

The Serengeti has a few different wet and dry seasons, with the June to October dry months generally being considered the peak season for travelers. It is during this period when you can usually catch the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebra, and various antelope species crossing rivers like the Grumeti and Mara.

On just a single Tanzania safari to the Ngorongoro Crater you may be able to encounter close to 30,000 animals residing in the diverse habitats on the crater floor among which are swampy wetlands, forests, open savannah plus a lake. The crater is bordered by a steep wall of close 600 meters.

The safaris in the Ngorongoro Crater presents an opportunity to marvel at the biggest number of predators found in the whole of Africa among which are large lion prides, the playful cheetahs and the sneaky leopards all roaming on the floor of the crater.

Additional wildlife you are likely to encounter while in this crater include hippos that reside in the swamps, thousands of wildebeests plus buffaloes that graze in the grasslands, as well as hundreds of the beautiful flamingos commonly seen around the lake, in addition to hyenas that scavenge the expanse. In addition are the uncommon black rhinos that normally take refuge in the walls of the crater, and not to forget the elephants commonly seen in the forest.

Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic influences. Its winding lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace. The northern villages Nungwi and Kendwa have wide beaches lined with hotels. Zanzibar is rich in Culture, history and the beach plus a dozen of attractions.
